Programmes
Explore the government schemes through which financing, incentives and project designations are recorded. A named ceiling or lending authority is not an amount spent; the tracker records selected financial rows, not complete programme utilization.
Understanding programme finance — quick definitions
A government scheme can have an authorized ceiling, individual finance records and designations. Those are not interchangeable or additive.
- Program envelope
- The ceiling of a programme, fund or facility that awards are drawn from.
- Lending authority
- A ceiling on what a lender may lend or guarantee.
- Commitment
- Money, or a money-like promise, committed to a named recipient or project. The only role ever summed.
- Parent and child schemes
- A parent programme's record view can include the same financial rows as its child. Do not add both totals together.
- Designation
- Recognition of a strategic project is not a financial award, disbursement or proof of completed production.
12 of 12 registered programmes
One result is one registered scheme, not one award or a complete government budget. Parent programmes include recorded rows from their child schemes; those inherited rows must not be added again across results. Ceilings are stated authorities, not paid capital, and are never divided into recorded public-commitment rows. Designations confer recognition, not money. Empty counts mean no row registered here, not no activity outside SMPT.
