Coverage

What this tracker watches

The source register shows what has been cited. This page shows what is under review — the official pages and feeds the project has undertaken to check, at a stated interval, for each jurisdiction it publishes events for. Publishing the input side is what makes the absence of a record legible: a gap here is a gap in coverage, not evidence that nothing happened.

What this page does and does not claim

  • Watching a source is a statement about the project's review routine. It asserts nothing about that source's contents, and no measure is implied to exist or not exist because a page appears here.
  • Cadence is the interval the project commits to reviewing at — not an observed publication frequency of the source.
  • Prospective monitoring has not started. Every record currently in the database was added retrospectively, so no timeliness or lag statistic is computed anywhere on this site — there is no monitoring start date to compute one against. The review dates below are empty for the same reason, and are left empty rather than backfilled.
  • Sources are added here when they are the authoritative publication venue for a jurisdiction's measures. Reachability is confirmed at the time of addition; that is recorded in each entry's note, and is not a claim of continued availability.

Watches US industrial-policy instruments (loans, equity, offtake and price-floor agreements). Listed the OSC release confirming the July 2025 DoD/MP Materials agreement. Uses cto.mil rather than war.gov because war.gov returns 403 to automated clients. Reachability confirmed 2026-08-11 during watchlist setup.

Natural Resources CanadaRessources naturelles Canada

Watched for: Rare earth elements (grouped), Dysprosium, Terbium, Neodymium, Praseodymium, Graphite

Machine-readable Atom feed listed on Natural Resources Canada's own RSS page (natural-resources.canada.ca/corporate/rss-feeds). Verified 2026-08-11: returns 50 entries including critical-minerals items. Chosen over the ISED news listing, which times out from the maintainer's network. Caveat: NRCan covers the Critical Minerals Strategy and funding, not Investment Canada Act divestiture orders — the instrument behind the existing Canadian record — so ISED remains an unwatched gap.

United Kingdom (1)

UK Critical Minerals Strategy (publication page)

In rotation

Department for Business and Trade

Checked quarterlyenNo published review cycle yet
Critical-mineral designationSupply-chain security measureFunding or subsidy

Watched for: Rare earth elements (grouped), Gallium, Germanium, Graphite, Antimony, Tungsten

The live strategy's own publication page, which carries a "last updated" date and lists the technical annex — the surface on which a revision or withdrawal appears first. That is not hypothetical: it is exactly how the 2022 strategy's withdrawal was recorded, and reading it is what established the supersession coded on evt-uk-cms-2022. Quarterly rather than monthly because a strategy page changes on the order of years.

India (1)

National Critical Mineral Mission

In rotation

Ministry of Mines, Government of India

Checked quarterlyenNo published review cycle yet
Funding or subsidyStockpilingCritical-mineral designation

Watched for: Rare earth elements (grouped), Graphite, Antimony, Tungsten

The Ministry of Mines' own standing page for the Mission. Watched rather than cited: the event record rests on the PIB release (src-pib-ncmm-2025), and this page has not yet been read in full, so it carries no evidentiary weight here. It is the expected surface for the critical-minerals list and the stockpile design the PIB release does not enumerate — the two gaps flagged on that record.

Documents actually cited by a published record live in the source register. How records move from a watched source to a published event is set out on the methodology page.
