National Wealth Fund backs Tungsten West to unlock critical UK tungsten supply
Primary sourceNational Wealth Fund
The National Wealth Fund's own release announcing up to £71 million (£36 million equity plus up to £35 million lending) for Tungsten West to restart the Hemerdon tungsten and tin mine near Plymouth. States that the resulting negotiation right for up to 50% of production is separate from the offtake agreement itself, which was still being negotiated by the UK Government as of this release.
